Why did I decide to study architecture?

Since I was a little girl, I have liked making crafts and drawings. My dad is good at drawing and has inspired me for as long as I can remember. To put it in context, I lived in my grandmother's house. When I was eight years old, my father made drawings, plans and even a model of our future house. He is not an architect or anything, he works in Coca-Cola. Seeing that all those things he did on paper became reality in our house, I liked it, but not until I was in high school that it crossed my head to study architecture.

On average I really liked math. Besides, I was not doing badly, so I thought about studying some engineering or medicine. But I don´t like see blood. In the third half I chose a mathematical elective. I had a little more advanced mathematics and physics, but I realized that it was not my thing and I put aside wanting to study engineering.

I considered my taste for drawing and thought about studying architecture. Although I also really like writing novels and for a moment, I wondered whether to study letters or something related to books. At the last moment I decided to study architecture and looked for a good university. I stayed where I wanted even if it meant moving away from home.

I have a toxic relationship with this career, sometimes I love it and sometimes I hate it. But deep down I like everything I study, and I enjoy it.

Blog 2: My favorite piece of technology

In this second post I will tell you about my favorite piece of technology. Since I was little I have liked technology and lately my life revolves around it.

My favorite piece of technology is my cell phone. Because I have a lot of important information in it, memories and my friends messages. I use it most of the day, mainly watching different social networks. I like to see memes and videos on Instagram, also see text messages on Facebook. I like to stay on the cell phone late at night watching series or anime.

My dad gave me my current cell phone and I try to take care of it so it doesn't break or get lost. Because before breaking two cell phones and two others have been stolen.

I think I can't live without a phone. I would miss talking to my friends and I would end up bored at home. Although when I am without a signal or the internet I paint, draw or play table games.

Blog 1: My autobiography

Hi!🐟 My name is Evelyn, my friends tell me Eve. I am 19 years old. I was born and grew up in Temuco. My birthday is January first and and an interesting fact about me is that my family  believed I was a boy, because never they did an ultrasound. Unfortunately I was born a girl. I studied at Liceo Bicentenario of Temuco, now study architecture at University of Chile. 

I like to watch series and movies. Last year when I was doing my works and models I was always looking for something to see and work at the same time. I like movies of all kinds, I see comedy, romance, action and fantasy. But lately I see more Japanese series. Since I was a little fan of anime and thanks to the quarantine I have seen much more. My favorite anime is Haikyuu!! because is quite fun. 

I live with my parents and I have a little brother. He is so annoying, but I am happy every day. Also, I have a cat that I love with all my life and that would not change for anything in the world.
